Harriet loves to wander at dusk through the cow parsley maze that surrounds her hillside cottage. The bells of the distant church tower ring out as night falls and the owls begin their twilight haunts. As Harriet makes her way home to the warmth of a log fire she sings sweetly collecting evening primrose flowers as she goes.
Hello! I have only just now gotten around to posting Harriets story after her photos have been on flickr for well over a week. (Harriet is already promised to another soul I am afraid but now that all the busyness of the craft fair season is over I have a chance now to concentrate on creating more sweet characters).
I am so sorry that I did not get a chance to pop in and blog a 'Merry Christmas' to you all - but a belated Season's Greetings all the same - I do hope that a lovely time was had by all.
We had a wonderfully quiet and relaxed time - just hermited away in our wee home, spending time together playing board games and cards, eating lovely food and watching movies we hadn't seen before. Bliss.
So now I aim to go up and clear a path through the 'midden' that is the loft space, attempt to tidy up and catch up on some paperwork.
Ooh and just to let you know - both my etsy shops are presently on vacation however I shall be opening them up again on Friday 2nd January - new wonderful A3 size prints and some new accessories shall be appearing - now that I actually have a chance to list new items!
Wishing you a wonderful week and a Happy New Year should I not manage to return before 2009!
