I find this post incredibly interesting, especially as you've written as at a time when i've begun work on my art exam project, and am researching art colleges, for I want to study costume design. (I got so excited when I saw the dye studio at pWimbledon)!) I've always loved your drawings due to the combination of interesting textual backgrounds with characters which though figurative, were in themselves quite abstract. I think that you revious interests do come through.

i hope that you feel better soon! Take care xx

I am the same as you in many of the things you have been talking about. My biggest problem is the weather and unfinished projects around my home. They seem to cloud my creative energy. I can't offer any help as each person is slightly different. Besides, I haven't found my own solution.

I hope you feel better soon.

You are certainly not alone! Everyone suffers from blocks at one point or another--especially me, who cannot bring myself to call myself an "artist".
I joined TAW blog-it is a wonderful group of very supportive people! Hope you can join us! Feel better!

Yes, yes! I totally understand where you're coming from. Every day, and usually several times a day, I hear myself saying to myself, 'Who are you kidding? Why do you bother? You're NO GOOD!' And yes, it is exhausting to constantly battle against that and carry on, full of doubt, trying to keep up with that tiny golden spark as it flutters ahead in the distance. It's so easy to get distracted by and caught up in the wonderful work other people are doing - especially some of the fantastic work on etsy. I've no idea what the answer is, but I'm so glad that someone who, in my view, has such glorious ability and talent, feels just the same as me. I hope you're recovering from the head cold, by the way. Sorry to have rambled such a lot!
