Hello this cold Tuesday! I am having real problems with my wee tootsies at the moment but more than 2 pairs of socks and my feet will not fit into my slippers. What to do, what to do?
Well we had a lovely weekend - lots of relaxing, movie watching and just generally being hobbits hiding away in our wee home. It is our 3rd anniversary today since the day we met and Mark has just returned home from work with daffodils, chocolates and goodies for dinner and will soon be cooking up a storm in the kitchen - spaghetti bolognaise with lemon tart for after and some lovely strawberry with a hint of mint type drink - I am a very spoiled girl so I am.
S0!!! I have to apologise as I did break my promise of getting the results of my anniversary blog draw to you before the end of the week. Lesson learned - never make a blog promise but with lots of camera and memory card traumas (resolved by having to fork out cash which I can ill afford on a new memory card today - boo!) and I now can add photos to this post!! Albeit very dark and non exciting ones. But here we go.....
So the main gift goes to the wonderful and uber creative Vanessa of A fanciful twist, but I could not only do one, so another little parcel will be winging its way to the lovely and again wonderfully talented PG from The middle of nowhere. I really cannot enthuse about these 2 lovely ladies enough - both very talented and both an inspiration to me. Please check out their wonderful blogs - and I have to say their surroundings are incredibly inspiring in completely contrasting ways. Again thank you for all the comments! I shall have to make up an anniversary soon I think as I enjoyed this give-away so much (even though it ended up being far more drawn out that I originally intended!)
So amongst my workshops preparation (still ongoing and I am having fun with them - there will be photos soon) and finishing up.... those dreaded taxes which should have been done and dusted oh so very long ago - the absolute deadline is fast approaching......... I have been doing a wee bit of sewing for etsy and for gift giving. The angel tote bag above is one of two such items and is now available in my accessories shop (the other one will be listed tomorrow I should think).
Well there is no hope of getting into the studio this week as we are away to visit family this weekend and I am itching to get some proper painting time in - but next week for sure!!
Anyway I do hope you are well, coping with the rain sleet and snow or whatever the weather may be throwing at you - I am now off to enjoy my candlelit dinner with my sweetheart! xxx
Oh Swoooon! Yay yay!! I am soooo delighted. Your gorgeous treasures always make my heart smile!! xooxo Happy 3rd anniversary! I could use a lemon tart right about now ;) xoxoxo
